Italy's most popular tourist attractions are the Coliseum and the Pompeii ruins.  Italy is widely known for being the birthplace of opera and for having produced scientists and artists such as Galileo Galilei and Leonardo DaVinci.  Italy is the second most successful football team in the world after Brazil with four FIFA World Cup wins.
