WHAT TIME IS IT? - O'CLOCK AND HALF PAST
Hello and good evening everyone:
What time is it? My dear students at 2nd level are learning the hours (o’clock and half past). They have been practising how to ask for the time. They say, “Excuse me, what time is it, please?” and they answer, “It’s …” In this post, you have two videos about how to tell the hours.
There is an online tale, which helps them to review the hours and daily activities. They can read and listen to the text if they choose “page by page” or without text “movie”. They can review the time (o’clock, a quarter past, half past, quarter to…) with the Primary Clock by Cambridge University Press.
Enjoy and practice at home as many times as you want. Regards, Christopher.

ETWINNING PROJECT - BRUCE DISCOVERS EUROPE
The project's main aim is to make our students learn about different countries in a pleasant way. They will discover the culture, traditions, everyday life of their friends from other countries by exploring the adventures of the Teddy. It's also going to improve students' writing skills as they will have to write down all the adventures Teddy has in their countries. They will practice their English by reading to the stories, communicating with their friends. The project will encourage students to use English in their daily life. It will also improve students' ICT skills.
We'll get a lot of stories presenting Teddy's adventures, which may be used as an authentic material for English lessons. The public TwinSpace will be full with photosfrom different places in Europe. Students will improve their English and writing skills and will be encouraged to speak English in everyday situations. PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLOURS
Hello again dear friends!!!

Here we are again with new videos, activities... In this post, we are going to learn what primary and secondary colours are.
PRIMARY COLOURS: they cannot be made from other colors. Artists create all the other colours by mixing together the primary colors. They are red, blue and yellow.
SECONDARY COLOURS: they are made by mixing two primary colors. Each secondary color is made from the two primary colors closest to it on the color wheel. They are orange (red and yellow), green (blue and yellow) and purple (red and blue).
Here you are a video about primary and secondary colours we watched at school just for fun and learn because they have to colour the famous painting "Mona Lisa" by Leonardo Da Vinci using these colours only. They cannot use pink, grey, black...
Regards, Christopher.

Sorry, but I have had technical problems with my computer and my laptop.
Well, as you know, we are dealing with
the topic “Planet Earth”. Here you are four videos and a ppt in order to
reinforce the main concepts. And remember…
We live on planet Earth. Earth is a large sphere.
Most of the Earth is covered by water.
The rest is covered by land.
There is air all around the Earth.
This air is called the atmosphere.
The Earth turns once every 24 hours.
This is a day.
The Earth also moves round the Sun.
This takes one year.
The Earth gets light from the Sun.
You can see the Moon in the sky at
night.
The Moon moves round the Earth.
The Moon moves round the Earth.
The Sun is a star. It is the nearest
star to Earth.
The Sun gives the Earth light and heat.
The Sun gives the Earth light and heat.
Regards, Christopher.

THE WATER CYCLE SONG - 2ND LEVEL A - JANUARY 2013
The Water Cycle takes the water and moves it. Up and Down and all around
the Earth .
Evaporation comes when the heat from the Sun warms up all the
groundwater, then it turns to water vapour.
Condensation takes over, it goes up to the clouds. Water vapour cools
down and it changes to a liquid, now.
Precipitation happens when the drops get big. It falls like Rain, Snow,
Sleet, and Hail upon my head.
I know it's the water cycle happening again: Evaporation, Condensation,
Precipitation.
THANK YOU CHILDREN FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION!!!
REGARDS, CHRISTOPHER.
