THE UNITED KINGDOM - INTERESTING FACTS

MOTHER'S DAY 2.012 - 1ST LEVEL A

Last Sunday (6th May), we celebrated Mother's Day in Spain. We celebrate this festivity on the first Sunday of May.

SLEEPING BEAUTY BY MIRIAM AND ANDREA

This video has been done by Miriam Vallecillos and Andrea Sánchez. They study 5th Level B Primary Education at Las Lomas School, located in Águilas (Murcia, Spain). INFO - INMERSIÓN LINGÜÍSTICA


Para aquellos/as mamás/papás interesados/as que tengan hijos/as en 5º, 6º de Primaria o en 1º de ESO, os recuerdo que ha salido la convocatoria en el BOE de 30 de marzo por la que se publica la Resolución de 26 de marzo de 2012, de la Secretaría de Estado de Educación, Formación Profesional y Universidades, en la que se convocan ayudas para participar en un programa de inmersión lingüística en colonias de vacaciones para el verano de 2012. 

Plazo: 25 de abril de 2012.

Pueden participar los alumnos de 5º y 6º de Primaria y 1º de la ESO que no superen los 13 años a fecha 31 de diciembre de 2012.

SHOPS AND CURRENCY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM - 4TH LEVEL A PROJECT

Hello again dear friends:

Our students (4th Level A) have done a project about shops and currency in the United Kingdom. They have review the vocabulary related to shops and money. Using their creativity, they have drawn some products and written their prices. Also, they have played with real currency from the UK (coins and notes). They enjoyed the experience. The text was: "Excuse me, how much is it? It is .... pounds and ... pence"

IRREGULAR VERBS EXERCISES

There are many irregular verbs in English, which means they don’t follow the main rule of adding –ed to the verb.

Here you are some links to different exercises for practicing the past simple of irregular verbs.

Remember, the structures of this kind of verbs are:
Affirmative: Subject + irregular verb + complements.
Negative: Subject + did not + main verb (infinitive) + complements.
Interrogative: Did + subject + main verb (infinitive) + complements + ?
