Hello again dear friends!

The following links refer to “Past simple – regular verbs”. Students (6th level) are studying the Past simple, but the regular ones. They have learnt that the structures are:
  • Affirmative sentences:   Subject + Verb + ed + Complements.
  • Negative sentences:      Subject + did not (or didn’t) + Verb (Inf.) + Complements.
  • Interrogative sentences: Did + subject + Verb (Inf.) + Complements + ?
  • Useful words can be: last week/day/month/year, a month/year ago, in (past years), and yesterday.

Enjoy learning the past simple of regular verbs. Regards, Christopher.

AGUILAS IS CARNIVAL

Dear friends:

As you know, Carnival started last weekend. The first event we celebrate is "Cambio de Poderes", where old characters give their sceptres (powers) to the new ones. Ana Terrones, my student (5th level B) is the new "Cuaresma Infantil", so all the students, teachers and families support her. Good luck in all the events from your teachers and friends. I hope you and your family like this video.

Regards, Christopher.

UNIT 6 - IN MY HOUSE

This song (as “A spider in the bathroom") can be used for some topics: Houses, Animals and Grammar (present continuous). Remember, the main parts of the house are: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, living room, dining room, hall and garage.
  • The bedroom is for sleeping.
  • The bathroom is for washing.
  • The kitchen is for cooking.
  • The living room is relaxing.

GRAMMAR - THERE IS AND THERE ARE

Students (6th level) have done their works about the uses of “There is” and “There are” in affirmative, negative and interrogative forms. All of them were very good, but I have decided to upload only the best. These were done by: Albert Giner, Mary Boronat, Anne Andreu, Peter Soto and Alice López.

Regards, Christopher.
