THE OLYMPIANS

Students, 5th Level A, have drawn their perceptions about Ancient Greece and their Gods and Goddess.

As we know, there were twelve (12) Gods in the Olympus(The Olympians). They were named from their dwelling, Mount Olympus. They were men and women. Their names were Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hestia, Hera, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Aphrodite, Hermes, Artemis and Hephaestus.

Students used their imagination and creativity drawing the gods and the goddess in Art Lessons. To learn more, visit

GUY FAWKES - GUNPOWDER PLOT - 5TH NOVEMBER

Guy Fawkes (1570 to 1606), also known as Guido Fawkes, was one of a group of Catholic plotters who planned, but failed, to blow up Parliament - now known as the Gunpowder Plot of 1605.

On 5th November 1605 Londoners were encouraged to celebrate the King's escape from assassination by lighting bonfires.
